Does anyone ever reply to messages?

I think I've sent around 30 messages to different people, and not received a single reply from anyone over the past few months. They were all respectful messages and contained nothing offensive.

Is it just me?

I wouldn't reply to any profile indicating they participated in bare back sex, and their profile was challenging women to step up and satisfy them personally.

Exactly this. The site majority is single guys by a long way.

Dosent matter how many you send out or to whom, your up against a seriously large number of other people.

Reading

I have sent around forty targeted messages over past four weeks. Some are not read, possible read and then back to unread? About 10 replies. 4 then deleted by sender. Rest yes not constant replies . As senders only on Fab once a week. I feel a good average at the moment. Due to being male and my age.

we reply to well thought out polite messages that show that they have read our profile properly, even if its a no thanks, but that has problems as you then get loads of messages asking why not.

we also read the senders profile and if they dont match what we are looking for then again a polite no, but having read your profile we wouldnt reply and just block sorry

Nope that's normal. Sadly it's 100:1 on here so why your message over any of the others? Are you top 1% material, or like me and all the other muggles?

Another tactic is to read the message and save it as unread to show even less interest to avoid your 2nd messsge.

Fab is not for meeting people. Also v.poor for light hearted convos. Some women would have to employ PA's if they got serious about replys.

If you get an unsolicited message from a woman.....it's a man pretending. Quick replys....with continued saucy dialogue, probably a man.

Same as any other dating site.

I think read and block should be their fairest approach. Then you know where you stand.

A typical update ”200+ unread messages just deleted" is demoralising. Think of the hours of effort by everyone.

I think ultimately the odds aren't any better for any male in the animal kingdom. Why should it be any

better for us? We're not special.
