So, if I were to run a rope and cake event, where people that wanted to learn rope or share their love of cake, would people be willing to pay to cover the cost of the venue? Something around £5 a head maybe?

Just slinging the string idea out there!

That's cool, thank you for the responses

I'm going to have a chat with a venue about hiring etc and hopefully get this off the ground!

Yeah I know there are loads of rope events out there, but Brum has just lost one of those and well who doesn't like cake!

Why not hold it at your local swingers club they possibly like the PR and you never know could be going up and down the county with car full of cake and rope.

I'd happily do that, but the amount they charge a single guy to get in plus membership would be prohibitive for a lot of people and oddly myself included!

I want to share and help people learn and I don't think that should be only available to those that can afford it.

Good idea mind, just don't think it'll be affordable

Any one who does this will be in very good hands

The first and one of the few people I trust to do suspension with

Gapping Fanny

Most (if not all) the peer rope groups charge an entry fee so I think it would only be fair for people interested in going to be prepared for an entry fee to cover venue hire.

Thats not talking about dedicated rope tuition classes which charge a lot more.

Would it be a BYOC type of affair or any cake sharing for those feelings naughty or can we just watch cake for those on a diet?

Asking for a friend

Would depend on the restriction posted by the venue. It might be tricky. It would be something to double check with the venue

I'm hoping people could bring their own, helps build some atmosphere etc etc

Have you heard of predicament bondage, your stuck between two courses of action either way has consequences, so you could use the cake as encouragement lol

I've booked the venue and do to limited numbers I've had to go with £10 hopefully that's still attractive to people?
