But, what dont people understand about looking for LOCAL or distances. Clearly states in profile looking for local , dont go on cam , still get people from miles away as in 200 miles this morning message me , i say sorry to far away, not to go on cam were not ? or we can chat maybe meet up soon? NO NO NO it aint gonna Happen.

Im usually a happy positive person but got me a bit mad this morning 4 messages all for 200+ miles away does my head in !!

Getting into a dialogue can be draining and we don't have to explain ourselves, so I say no ta etc and ignore any further messages or block.

It can be frustrating when they choose not to read a profile before messaging.

We've decided to upload a picture stating we're currently not looking to meet.

Let's see how that goes eh.

We've learned to either reply that all the info they need is on our profile, when they ask questions that can be found there.

Or give the message the same respect and delete.

We think off 200 miles as far

But I have friends across the water

Who travel like 800 miles for a date like it’s nothing anyway hopefully you find something

I once had a couple ask to meet in their opening message. I pointed out the part in my profile where it says I don't meet without chatting followed by a social. That was fine they said, they were happy to chat for a few days and have a quick coffee before going up to the room. They even offered to buy the coffee. What about the plane ticket I asked? What plane ticket? The one I will need to get to your country.

There is not much poor public transport these days

I stay in the middle off nowhere with a in a small village off like 2k houses and the next outlays village are like 3-4 miles away in each direction can get to Edinburg or Glasgow witch links me 8 hours away from the bottom of the uk

We not in horse and cart days but as stated it’s everyone progtory off what they want

A small village with 2k houses? There are large towns over here that don't have 2k houses. There are also vast parts of the country with no rail access at all with anything from an hour to 2 hours drive just to the nearest train station. The same is true for bus services. It takes me 3 hours to get across the country and 5-6 hours lengthwise. I have no intention of travelling that length of time to meet someone especially when I don't meet without a social.

We only got 4g two year ago dose that show I stay in the middle off nowhere
