What do you send out as a first message to profiles that catch your fancy?

Do you find yourself typing something then cringing at how bad it sounds when you read it back?

It really all depends on what I read on their profile or status and saw in their photos as I try to make each message unique and focused on them.

Apart from that, I'd usually introduce myself (very quickly, as I don't want to repeat my profile which is there to read if they are at all interested) and say what I think I could offer.

I don't send too many though tbh, and recieve much less replies, so I have no idea if it works. I'm just happy I do get some replies.

I haven't sent a first contact message in 18 months but when I did it was always tailored to something in their profile that stood out. That might not necessarily be the most obvious thing but it showed I had read and understood the profile.

These days my free time is limited so I don't want to waste people's time by starting lots of new conversations.

I put all my effort into my profile and forum posts and all conversations during those 18 months have been initiated by others who appreciate that.

Also had a little look at you pics very ( insert compliment about them )

I thought (insert pic date ) was good loved the dress shoes or what ever in the pic
