I love how they all fly together..

Murmuration at its best.

Do you like to be one with nature?

Or do little flying things freak you out and you're most settled inside, away from it all?

Nearer than you think

I last saw a murmuration when I was wild swimming. Magical.

I love it when I see the first swifts in May, I know summer is comming. Also like the huge garden spiders around now but I might be in the minority there lol

I remember the summer of 1972 when I had the TV on for the Olympics. The swimming was on and one of the Americans was just about to go for an (at the time) unprecedented seventh gold medal.

Anyway, just before they started, out of the window I spotted a huge flock of birds flying majestically. It was the most beautiful sight I'd ever seen. I couldn't take my eyes of them.

But herein lay the dilemma. What did I watch? The exalted sight of nature in action or history in the making in Munich?

Spitz or swallows? I just couldn't make my mind up.

I have a few garden bird feeders and water pots + bird bath. Nothing I better than watching them. Also like to star gaze at night with telescope. Very relaxing and peaceful.

I love birds! Beautiful creatures

We lived in Florida for a few years and we got to see hummingbirds up close each day once we had earned their trust. They are the most amazing birds, I miss them!
