Do you like spicy food or hot sauce?

What sauces are your fave?

I like the Carolina reaper encona hot sauce.

It’s not as hot as the name suggests but nice.

Also like a sriacha and encona scotch bonnet hot sauce.

How about you?

Recommendations please?

Love spicy food, I make most of ma curries from scratch. Usually got a bottle of Cholula Chipotle in ma cupboard, that's not for ma curries though, it's for other concoctions

Absolutely anything with habenero in it, scotch bonnet as a close second. Tried the hotter ones but they don't have the same flavour - imo

I love hot sauces.

Most I get you can't get off the shelves though, such as Devilspit Extra Hot Garlic sauce (which is only made a few times a year, and by a member of one of my favourite bands, The Wildhearts).

Off the shelf, I think Econa Exxxtra Hot Pepper sauce (West Indies inspired) is my favourite. Not the hottest, but it has a lovely flavour.

I put sriracha on pretty much everything, but that's about as hot as I go

I was going to say Sriarcha is the absolute best. I get through more than ketchup.

I make my own now, i grow chilies all year round hydroponically so never short of super hots. My current sauce is Carolina Reapers with some Apaches and Birds Eye, a red bell pepper, some garlic etc. It goes in and on everything. I'm growing an Armageddon plant which is actually British, and a couple of Naga Morich

I've been known to order/cook spring rolls just so I can have them with sweet chilli sauce...

But I also love it with scrambled egg or omelette.

I do like spicy food. I just dislike when the overwhelming thing is spice/heat and then you cant feel your tongue for a week.

Tbh I love when a hot sauce is that hot it leaves you tingling. But it has to have good flavour too.

If it can be found on the supermarket shelves then “ Dave’s insanity sauce “ is good.

Also the rib man does a good selection of hot sauces on his website
