Help, what can we put with our fish fingers for tea tonight?

No boring usual stuff like Fish finger sandwich, chips. Please think outside of the box! Thanks.

Actually this may sound odd but it works :

Fishfingers on a bed of Sauerkraut in a wrap with either some mayo/ ketchup.

The sauerkraut adds the flavour you normally get through the vinegar on the chips.

On a mooch

We like to throw them in a wrap with sweet chilli sauce and ice cold lettuce and serve with diced roasted garlic spuds on the side.

Have them like you have swordfish…rare with a teriyaki sauce and crushed new potatoes, green leaves and a glass of Prosecco.

Turn it into a fish dish with some grilled prawns, crispy squid, smoked salmon and 3 mix of sauces; hoi sin, sweet chilli and tartar.

(I would’ve added lobster tails but that’s a bit far)

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

Make a red sauce from tinned plum tomatoes; sugar/agave; Shaoxing rice wine or sweet Sherry; chillies (if you can put up with heat - I don't add chillies!); Chopped galic/powdered garlic.

I then add peppers (all colours) in a pan and add onions. You can whack that into the red sauce.

You could do:-

Boiled rice.

Noodles.

Chips.

Pasta/Spaghetti/Penne Pasta/etc.

Garlic mashed potato.

Roast spuds.

Vegatable stir fry.

Try that!
