Stretch marks are skin.

I remember that line.

The beauty of it , especially for Shirley , was that middle aged , ignored women believe their bodies to have given way to childbirth and life. They no longer want to show their bodies with it's imperfections. People always think others will notice the imperfections....

Not only did he 'romance' her..... he kissed her body and made her feel beautiful.

It's not that women WANT their stretch marks kissed..... it's just beautiful to be with a man who is comfortable being with bodies that have done 'battle' ....

I actually quite like it when a man takes the time to adore those parts of your body that society usually looks down on. If he's genuine about it and not just doing it to pity me, then it's quite special and comforting almost.

When I am into a person I accept all of their characteristics and imperfections which are subjective of course. And I kiss everywhere unless explicitly told not it do so. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say.

Most of mine are on my stomach and I flinch if anyone pays that attention, as I’ve just come to hate that part of me so anyone touching it I just think they’ll hate it too
