So we get a lot of winks, when we wink back nothing seems to follow. Is it a way of people saying we like your profile or wanting us to message them?

I thought it would be like they wink at you then you reciprocate, then they message as a way to know you are both interested?

People use them the way they choose, some hate them for some reason.

We can like them.

Either, they send a wink, maybe wondering if they fit our requirements, if we like we wink back, then it's up to them to initiate first message.

Same if we wink wondering if we fit their requirements, of they wink back we will message.

That's exactly what I get. Couples will wink at me,I send them a very polite message back and never hear from them again.

I find it really frustrating as a single guy it's difficult enough as it is.

I see winks as way of saying hi, prefer a nice message though as that way you get to see what’s someone’s thinking when they write the message
