I haven’t had any guests stay for 6 years

But if I did I might let them have our bed - it would depend who it was. I’d possibly put them in a child’s room as they have 3/4 size beds & it’s less inconvenience for me.

If I didn't have one nor a study with a sofa bed... then yes, I probably would. But I'd have to do clean sheets and wash after. I'd rather someone have the bed and I slept on the sofa, would feel too guilty to sleep if not.

Yes. I've shared beds since I was younger, so I'm comfortable sharing with many others - very selectively. Likewise, I've camped and had guys snuggle up, when they're cold, or wanting to shag. A lot of my friends come to bed for a snuggle, chat and snooze.

But, I love sleeping alone, all the space it gives, especially in hot weather, when others heat you up. So it depends on weather, who the people are and what I fancy.

If my boyfriend's mum came to stay I would have no hesitation to offer our bed to her. We could sleep in my son's room and he could have a camp bed. But in all honesty I very much doubt she would accept as we are not a married couple and she probably wouldn't stay with us if he and I slept in the same bed. We have to sleep separately when we visit her Her beliefs and we accept her rules at her home.

Friends have stayed over and they get my son's bed when he is at his dad's house.

There are so very few people that I'd have stay at my house. But the one or two I would, yes, they could stay in my bed.

Given it's over 6' wide and 7' long I'm pretty sure I'd not even notice if they were there.

Kids when poorly, but that's a rare thing now they're older. Not had a lot of need for family or friends to stay over as they're all near by and in that event we have a spare room.

Stayed in the sister in law's bed once - make of that what you will....

It’s not for selfish reasons really, because I’ve given up my bed for them loads of times, it’s just, my new mattress, it probably doesn’t even make sense, but I had to save really hard to get a new one, that didn’t feel polluted by exes energy

Otherwise, my sofa is super comfy, wide when you take the back cushions off. It's long and in the morning, the light is lovely through the curtains.

I love making lovely nests for my guests. With close friends I snug in with them in my bed. If you stay over at mine. I promise you'll be super cosy.

makes sense. It's part of healing. Can you tell them this... I'd hope they'd understand if they know about the ex... And maybe find a one off solution. It may be different next time ... But ATM it's like virgin (hehe) snow... And you only want your footprints in it.

Or sign them up for gab put a meet up, and find them a willing bed !

We are quite lucky to have a spare room most of the time and a massive king size sofa bed downstairs. However, if we had someone to stay if we were going away (that was a friend) and was looking after our little man we would offer our bed, it's a king-size and very comfy!

I have a spare room so I've never had to consider it.

My mum at a real push because I'd feel like a dick making her sleep on the sofa. The real question there is why is she staying at my house? She never has, is her house ok? Where is my younger brother staying if there's an issue with her house?

If sex is going to be involved...hell yes! As a straight man I love the plural notation used in the question (FFM, MFM, MFF, MFFFFFFFFFF+ etc.)


"Parents"

I'd need a shovel and besides, they probably wouldn't smell too great.

They can sleep in the garden or they can piss off home!

Our (almost) ten month old baby gets our bed lol just last night he was star fished in the middle asleep so me and K had our snuggles on the floor (laminate flooring with a piss poor rug to lay on) so not to wake him.

This is coming from a guy who once put tape down the middle of my bed to ensure an ex stayed on her own side lol.

I must be going soft.
