Nearer than you think

I had a purge during lockdown of "never again" clothes. Got to be realistic!

I’ve still got a Jurassic Park T-shirt from when the first one was made. I was a kid and that badboy still fits so it’s a keeper!

It depends how unrealistic it is that I'll get back in to them. I've got some jeans stashed away that I'm beginning to think I won't get back in to, they may be headed to the charity shop soon

I tend To grow into my clothes but when enough is enough they get used when doing decorating or gardening or anything else along those lines until no longer any use not even as a dirty rag

henley on thames

Last few clearouts I’ve had, I have come up with 2 “yellow card” bundles.

One is stuff that I had either forgotten about or simply not been wearing. If it doesn’t get worn in the next 6 months, it’s gone.

And the other is the stuff that is a size too small, but it’s good stuff and I really want to be able to wear it again. Again, 6 month checkup, if I’m no closer to wearing it again, I’m kidding myself, chuck it.

All I have to do now is stick to my brilliant system a bit more strictly.
