Yes I put up a status about the fact to be told by one freind on here this isnt fb but i will say i have freinds on here

This swinging stuff isnt all about wham bang thank you mam is about freindship to and freinds share good time and bad times

Yes we all on here for fun but there are times you just need to talk to folk swinging is about it finding it self some folk on here and in the world your never swing with

Most swingers dont fuck everything they meet

lots of stuff has to fall into place for it to happen

Some time it can take hours,days weeks, months and even years for anything to happen

You all got to be in the right place at the right time and in the right mind set

Some time you want to fuck some times you want to just talk some times you want to fuck and talk

Then time scales have to match and venue

Yes im about to loss my father inlaw

Broken down in tears tonight

But bloody I hell I needed to do that has helped

Got to be strong for the family

so yes as ive said put up a status about it but that is where i was at the time

So Im i right or wrong guys you tell me

With regards to the question a lot of people put personal stuff on here. I don’t personally but plenty do. You see lots of threads about people being ill/in hospital/losing people etc. For each negative person there’ll be 2 supportive ones on here for sure.

Sorry to hear about your father in law. Its always good to have someone or somewhere to voice your feelings and if this is where you feel happiest doing so then go for it, I hope you get some comfort from doing so

I lost my 27yr old son 13 months ago to suicide and I spoke lots on here to friends, the support I got on the forums and threads I started was a lot greater than I got elsewhere and vital to me coping... I owe so much to some very good friends I won't mention but they know who they are...

People use Fab for many reasons. If you're on looking for fun, uncomplicated hook ups, someone who has a status saying they're awaiting the death of a loved one is not going to be it, so you avoid.

Conversely, someone who has been there could offer support and let you know there is light ahead.

I don't know why people don't leave others alone!

Unfortunately, we didn't make it in time to be with my father-in-law, we were with my dad after the death of my mother.

Do what will get you through this OP.

I lost a close friend recently and was touched by the kind messages I got from some on here.

Soon find out who your friends are that's for sure.

Never feel bad about it, I move on sometimes too quickly but that's me and way I deal with it. Plenty of people in the world loose loved ones everyday it's a fact of life so your never alone. But never feel bad talking about things you need too support is a wonderful thing.

Firstly, let me say I'm sorry for what you are going through OP. We all face these hardships and losses at some point in our lives. It never gets any easier and losing those we care about leaves a scar that never truly heals (and nor should it).

But we continue, we live on, we remember and we carry on for those who came before. We try to bring the light they brought into our lives to those we will one day leave behind with hope their lives are brighter as well.

Secondly I want to say not everyone on fab thinks solely with their genitals. I cant speak for others but we've met some amazing people and made some very close friends on fab who we would just as happily sit and talk with in time of need as we would good times or not. Its all about making specials connection as much as it is, getting your rocks off for many on here.

But all that said...Fab is Fab. For some its a hook up site and nothing more, for others its a way to make more meaningful connections connections with like minded individuals.

Your "friend" isn't wrong as Fab isnt Facebook but at the same time if someone is an actual friend, they wouldn't be saying that shit. they'd be showing a bit of basic human decency and being there when you need them.

So you are not wrong.

We've lost to many we love and it'll happen again just as one day people will lose us. Anyone who wants to make light of a "friends" loss no matter the situation, setting or where it is mentioned isn't much of a friend in our opinion.

Stay strong, be there for those who need you and don't be afraid to lean on those who are there for you as well OP. Take all the time you need and just flip the middle finger at those who take issue with it.

OP..no you are not wrong. The person who told you it is not FB is in the wrong. If that person did not like your status, then they should have passed it by. There was no need for them to show such a lack of compassion and message you to say what they did.

We are all human, sometimes we need to reach out for help/support in our hour of need. Messages of support are important at times such as the one you are facing. X

I am so sorry you're going through this difficult time and your friend chose not to be supportive. People seek comfort in different ways and just because they don't agree shouldn't give them the right to pass any judgement. If talking through fab is helping and providing support for you then do what is right for you it shouldn't matter to anyone else. We all use fab for different reasons and people aren't happy they should just scroll on past. Thinking of you and your family and sending lots of hugs xxx xT

Sorry to hear this, sounds like you are pretty close to him a a have a good relationship to be so upset?

Maybe take some consolation from that. My father in law is bloody odd and couldn’t give a flying fuck about anyone except his own kids, absolutely no interest or warmth for any other human being. You could have been stuck with an arsehole like that instead of what has clearly been a rewarding relationship with a man that you will miss.
