Physically Aching!

So...twice on Saturday in "da club" had a bump and grind dance or two with women who i didnt close with but got absurdly turned on by. Ive never had blue balls i wouldnt call it ball pain - it was an aftermath of full body yearning for touch. Tragic but its been forever since ive even had a prolonged cuddle! (Multiple years!)

Anyone else able to relate? Esp during covid at the lack of physical intimacy?!

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Touch is really important to us.

It bonds us (think chimps grooming), it calms us, it boosts our immune system.

I've started to have massages again, not just for the aches but because it makes me feel real again.

Interesting as I just started (2 weeks ago) that as well. I did not even think about it in any analytical way, just felt I wanted and needed it. It was bliss even though I was aching afterwards.

Pre-pandemic I had regular massages. At the end of Lockdown I I had one, but it was odd being masked and having to strip the massage table myself (not what I pay for!).

I feel ready for naked hugs again.

The aches are definitely real.

I was lucky that I had my son at home to hug.

I did miss the regular massages.

But they're still not the same as a naughty cuddle!!

Hugs are a big deal for me and I definitely crave them! I guess they make me feel secure and wanted! Lack of touch from mr during lockdown was just torture! Miss pc

Ahh yes, for the first few months I was separated from my partners. I had my children but its not the same type of contact because of the roles.

We regulate each other by being in contact and close contact or touch. We need the dopamine and oxytocin from hugs and contact to keep our systems flowing and have emotional regulation.

The sexual ache/longing is both pleasure and pain. If you're on your own alot, it's worth remembering that there are ways you can cultivate your sexual energy. There are many languages of love and connection and by putting yourself as your own master of this.. It can help with the painful bits.

Self massage/treat yourself to masssge.

Pay attention to all of your body when masturbating.. Not just the genitals.

Consciously savour delicious food.

Give yourself pampering and treats.

Go for walks places you love and connect with nature.

I was a blubbering wreck when I was able to touch, be held and be intimate again! It made me realise how crucial it is to my happiness.

To give and receive touch is treasure.
