No really... I shit you not. We now have eco petrol.

Surely at some point they need to make labels and names for things that are not misleading!

Like they do on fag packets... "smoke these and die"

"use petrol and pollute your kids lungs" might be a bit more effective than "eco"...

Sorry feeling a bit ranty.

"On what basis do they make it eco? "

Currently petrol has 5% ethnol (E5)...tis being increased to 10% (E10). Got scientific research states that use of such petrol (E10)is akin to taking 300,000 cars off the road every year.

That will be the 300,000 old cars who's engines get buggered by it then

The solution is to use a professional fuel additive - Fueltone Pro is regarded as the best.

Not a cheap retail brand but one used by professional garages & mechanics.

Haha...true!

My car is a diesel, I'm safe but won't be long before I fall into the "excuse me sir, your car is too old and ain't good enough for the clean air zone...be off you hear!"

So using eco petrol doesn't leave pollutants behind?

No. Marginally less, that’s all.
