I did this one year running. Felt so good once I achieved it.

I would recommend doing a few days of longer miles to give yourself some rest days. I did 3 miles a day and found it quite tough on a couple of occasions.

"First 4.55miles done"

Last time I did this I became quite obsessive by clocking up miles and ended up doing 200 so you’ll nail this easily

Hull

I already do Voluntary Work for the BHF, working in one of their Furniture shops in Hull 2 days a week.

A 5 minute walk each way from home to the shop, plus the pacing around the shop in a shift, amounts to roughly a mile each time.

So I do my bit, even with a disability.

"So 5.2 miles today "

Well done you.

Where you can and are able to it's always good to bank a few extra miles so when you have days where you are unable to meet your daily target for any number of reasons then you have a buffer set aside. This takes pressure off you to make up a deficit of mileage.

I committed to a running challenge in January to achieve 268 miles in the month, and this is how I approached it and it definitely helped me.

Keep up the good work

NBVN x
