More than you have noticed. I am pleased to hear that Paralympians have been turning you on but that's because they are gorgeous and you fancy them, not because they have a disability. Concentrate on the former and not the latter.

Taking the point you raise seriously, two things spring to mind.

1st, there was a lady I was chatting to on FAB a few weeks ago, whom stated that she was in a wheel chair and the difficulty she has getting into and aorund clubs which means that most are no go areas for her.

2nd, A different lady was in Adam & Eves last weekend who while not wheelchair bound was obviously physically disabled needing to use 2 crutches to be able to walk around slowly. This didn't prevent her dressing up in the theme for the night, nor having fun both in the jacuzzi and later downstairs with some gentlemen. It did emphasis the difficulty she herself had in moving around the club, but as with most things in life, get to know the person and you'll discover fun people.

Think our profile kind of tackles it straight on

Amazing how many people are freaked to even talk to me in my chair while others see straight past it

I think peoples attitudes to disability across the board are slowly shifting and it's just a shame accessibility to public transport/buildings/clubs etc isn't changing as quickly

I'm a disabled swinger, single male, own place, live by myself and drive my own car and until recently work 27 years after taken VR.

Over the years I've had several pleasant encounters but recently I've noticed that after I've written to someone 5% write back, 75% don't write back (which I can handle), but its the 20% that block me for no reason. I just think its very rude. I like to know what other people think?

blocking isn't rude. Its a tool on the site - some people use it to save contacting people they aren't interested in, and to save showing up on their searches.

Its no worse than putting junk postal mail in the bin without phoning the company to explain why.

Lots of people think blocking is rude but it really isn't, its a tool that people use for many reasons.

to be honest Nia (F) is deaf and without her Cochlear Implant cant hear anything, not many people know about it on the site but if people have a problem with meeting us as a result of her hearing disability then that is their loss. She is an amazing woman who doesn't let it control her life also she lip reads so people don't have to know sign language to talk to her

I've several friends with disabilities from hearing and sight loss to cerebral palsy. All have very active sex lives and one even dipped her toe into swinging but decided it wasn't for her. I can do a little sign language but I'm very out of practice. We're all human at the end of the day with the same hormones running amok. It really will hopefully soon be a non issue.

there are always going to be people who have an issue with others - disability, skin colour, gender, sexuality, age, height, weight, hair colour, foot size - or whatever they choose to pick on as being "imperfect" in their eyes.

Pardon the language but some people are miserable bastards, and need someone to belittle to make themselves feel superior. Ignore them and focus on the people who actually do want to meet you, and enjoy your company.

Perhaps your attitude says a lot about it as well. You choose to focus on the negatives here rather than the post I wrote about attitudes. Says a lot.

If someone is in a wheelchair I couldn't meet them as I meet at home and it doesn't cater for wheelchair users. Any other disability would be Dependant on the person and their outlook I wouldn't be attracted to someone who defines their self by their disability
