To all the people saying too early for heating well think again, yes it may be warm but you should cycle it every so often for just half an hour not just leave it off for months...

So frustrating waking up and realising you forgot to open windows! And then being incapable of doing anything all day for such a stupid reason

The heating is not going on in this house for ages yet.

We still have summer duvet and windows open.

There's so many levels of self care before the heating goes on... Close windows, put winter duvet on, put warmer clothing on, wear bed socks, sofa blankets and any excuse for body contact but do not switch the heating on yet. When it is on its really low.

You should put your heating on now just to make sure it runs ok after the summer lay of, don't want to find out there's a problem when it's freezing !!!!

you can have that one for free

I switch over from cool to heat to let the heat exchanger pump run now and then.

No I had to open the kitchen door for an hour last night after lighting the fire..

But all good once I’d done that. I do love a fire though.

No combi in the main house, although I do have a boiler feeding the heat store too. There’s a combi in the annexe though. Boilers everywhere round here!
