I said TIPS you bunch of pervs

Do you give your hairdresser/barber/beautician/taxi driver tips?

Just wondering as I went to get my hair done today and never left a tip. Has to be the first time ever!

The reasons being was she never spoke except for asking what I wanted done and when she cut her hand.

I was happpy with the haircut (albeit it was shorter than what she initially said, ok by 1/2 an inch if that) but she never spoke.

She chatted to another hair dresser on the next station but not to me. Felt a bit meh and uncomfortable. I normally have a good gab with the girl who normally does my hair, but she was busy.

So was wondering do you tip? Or was I being a tight arse?

St Helens / Liverpool

I'd tip if they didn't speak to me, I find it so awkward making small talk with hairdressers!

I always tip, more if I like the service, less if I don't.

I only tip if the service is good in a bar / restaurant.

I don't do the % of the bill thing, but would leave either £2, £3 or £5 depending on how good the staff were.

I don't get taxis and have no need for a hairdresser

My tip for today though would be 'don't trim your pubes at 5am'

I did mine this morning and just taken my pre-bed shower and it looks like I've been mauled by a wildcat

with the moon n stars somewhere in gtr manc

I liked the way she did my hair, it was just the silence of something I find (for want of a better word) quite intimate (if that makes sense).

I was planning on a full change, but skint so dyed it myself and just went for a cut. I dont mind small talk and have a good giggle with my normal girl but this was an hour of silence. Maybe I'm to chatty for my own good

Pmsl ok, I wont do them in the morning then!

I do the 10% thng if they are good waitress/waiters mainly because I was a waitress and can identify good serving (ooo matron)

And please dont show me Saturday night as I really dont fancy seeing mauled pubes!
