a few months ago i bought myself a pin up shoot of groupon where i get 2 outfit changes.

assuming i will have to take my own outfits so loking for ideas of costumes.

i have a nice black and white polkadot dress that is very pin uppy and will get a net skirt to go under it for the full effect but what else?

i dont know your body shape but what about a curve hugging halterneck dress,,

the type of dress im thinking is featured on 'iconic's pictures.. it hugs her hips, waist and kicks out at her knee almost like a mermaid type dress..

Burlesque style.

Longline bra, deep suspender belt or frilly tutu skirt thingy and stockings. Feather boa and fan.

I have a few 50s style circle skirt dresses and I do love them.

I would imagine if its a Groupon voucher then you'll have to keep your clothes on. Circle skirts and buttoned up blouses with a wide belt would be a good idea.

I got a few of my dresses in retro and vintage shops in Nottingham and because I like a really full petticoat which is frilled and frothy rather than a stiff net, I bought a ballroom dance underskirt. The dresses and the underskirts are not cheap though, it can work out quite costly

When i had a photo shoot they did all my hair and make up for me (thankfully)

This thread seems strange to me as this is how I dress for a normal night out with friends.

I am developed a very steady hand so am very accurate when it comes to eyeliner as it needs to be sharp. At the minute I'm into temporary tattooed makeup. I know it sounds off but I have tattooed eyeliner. They just go on like those kids tattoos you get in the sweetie cigarettes. they stay perfect for a whole evening and you can only get them off with baby oil.

I also have tattooed lips, from the Violent lips range. They also stay on, not for swinging tho, don't know if they are blow job proof, but they last a whole evening. I just ensure I drink using a straw.

My shoot was done by a company called 'Double take studio's' in Southampton.

They plastered the make up on with a trowel i swear,, felt awful but apparently its because of all the bright lights and the set designs. Made for less photo shopping afterwards lol

Im sure you'll have a lush day and feel like a pricess with all the pampering

Thank you. its my friends wedding next week and I shall be in a new dress and petticoat which are absolutely huge.

I did have an outfit but my friend wasn't keen, even though she knows my dress sense. The crimpolene figure hugging skirt and jacket and pill box hat weren't the problem, it was the fox stole I was going to wear around my shoulders. She didn't like its eyes, teeth and feet so I'm not allowed to wear that. It was fake anyway, even I couldn't wear a real but fox

Lol couldnt do with the pretend eyes staring at me. But, being honest, I do admire your pics and outfits frequently.

Would love to be able to wear what you do with confidence! You always look amazing in your pics, and I'm not sucking up etc, your my wannabe style icon lol x

Photographic lights are very powerful and the light gets into any imperfections in your skin and causes shadows.You probably need 3 times your normal makeup to combat this.

Illuminating make up is a very good thing on photo shoots, and can be purchased easily.

I'd say outfit wise, a basque and a skirt with stockings and suspender belt or hold ups.

Any kind of dress up outfit.

Or a nice slinky dress with a split up the leg.

Definitely a nice feather boa.

Been thinking about what I have at home. I have some corsets but mostly modern funky ones or PVC.

o0o0o like the beach ball idea. thats a prop you can get all flirty with and might help with the shoot to be natural rather than constant posing.. just be playful with it and let the photographer just click away
