Action on car ferries?

Anyone come across action / pickups on car ferries? The only time I had any fun on a ferry was on an overnight crossing from Ireland to France, but having been on ferries between Ireland / England and England / France, with cabins, bars, booze etc ... surely there must be some activity?

Anyone got any past experiences or thoughts?

Sounds like my experience on the rosslare / le harvre route!

Was I just lucky that time or have I been a bit blind when I have been in other ferry trips?

Was she ever on the Plymouth to Bilbao route in 2014 ?

I regularly go to and from France every two or three weeks. I Normally go from Newhaven at 11pm on a Friday night and back again from Dieppe at midnight on the Sunday. Would be great to meet on the ferry or if someone is near there.
