So, you wake up one morning to find UK is occupied by the Taliban. They've stormed parliament and are wearing the crown jewels.

Do you

1) say, fuck this and leave the country.

2) accept it, shit happens.

3) say, they don't like it up em and fight back.

We can all be big and brave til it actually comes to the actual event. In regards to the taliban don't forget the West supported and armed them for decades to fight against communism and the Soviets. Until you have actually personally witnessed war and conflict and I don't mean a brawl on a Saturday night in town, people you'd expect to brave arent always and the timid ones can surprise you..

I couldn’t agree more. Never mistake someone’s quiet nature for weakness. They are the ones who will step up when the time comes. I’ve seen a lot of bravos shake in fear while the timid take a step to the front and say “well, come on then wankers”

Because I have the resources and because I love my family and want them to be safe I’d get the hell out of here. If I diddnt have the means to escape I’d fight , reality is though if it saved my families and friends lives I likely join them and comply.

That’s the reality of wars that many people forget and are quick to judge when people come here or when they fight back in places like the West Bank
