Ethical Slut

Reading an interesting book called - Thriving in Non-Monogamy - An Ethical Sluts Guide.

Absolutely loving the content, very thought provoking.

I had never heard of the term ‘Ethical Slut’ before picking up this book and think I might be one.

Anyone else know of this and/or share some more insight?

Fantastic book. Read The Ethical Slut years ago and tend to gift the book to friends.

Great guide to the conundrums of the swinging lifestyle and polyamory in general.

I did read a comment a few days ago from a couple that claimed to be ethical non monogamy and it sparked my curiosity.

Thanks for sharing the book, it'll be gifted to my wife soon

Ok found it ..

Read first 8 pages and I can now happily identify as such a slut (always thought that term applied to females only - i know better now).

Exactly. Not sure that if warm to anyone who refers to themselves as a slut, but without knowing exactly what is an “ethical slut” I may be jumping the gun!!

Read this yonks ago and opened my eyes to ENM.

Irrc in a nutshell you can have multiple partners but in an ethical (oepn honest etc) way. I think the use of slut was a useful term to repurpose given the negatiev connotations.

May be wrong. Has been a while.

The book doesn't seek to justify wanting to "shag", but discusses the issues that arise when singles and couples choose to be non monogamous.

Really good read for anyone in the lifestyle, who wants to swing, or have non monogamous relationships in an ethical way; without all the lying cheating and jealousy that often comes with that.
