Do little things that bring you joy OP. You could go out for a meal or order one of those at home meal kits.

"Last year I had a date in London the day/night before, stayed in a beautiful hotel and ate amazing steak and cheesecake. On the day itself my partner got takeaway from my favourite local gastropub, we played Scrabble and watched a film. He even ran me a bath with two bath bombs.
