Glasgowish

Just went out for a quick walk with my dogs and when I returned the upstairs Alexar was playing Nights in White Satin by The Moody Blues loudly. I had not been upstairs for a few hours so am clueless to how this has happened.

"Were you listening to it earlier?"

No. This Alexar is in my sons room and he is at work. It is not the type of music he would ever play.

Unplug it and then reset it again.

Mine randomly answers questions and plays music, apparently the signals can be interrupted by another one that your neighbours may have also.

Scares the life out of you when it does it whilst your sat there too

Spooked me more as that was a favourite song of my best friend who died 20yrs ago.

No idea. Have you had any strange or paranormal experiences in the house before this?

Oh that is spooky and weird - maybe a logical reason - Perhaps you were inadvertently humming the song today since your friend was on your mind

Might just be a glitch in the system, maybe an idea to either reboot it or turn it for a while. I know that you said that it spooked you, any bad vibes from it?

I'd say then that it's probably just a glitch and it needs rebooted.

Cheshire, Windermere ,Cumbria

If it was in the day I’d suggest the window cleaner but given it’s dark not sure, have you left the tv on and it’s triggered it? Or maybe just your friend saying hello

Alexa : "I'm sorry. I don't recognise "Night Cin, wait...Satan !", would you like me to play "Nights in White Satin" instead ?

1. Who spoke the words ?

2. Who is Cin ? Is there a Cindy there ?

3. Do you have a Rottweiler called Satan ?

If someone else's is connected to your account, they could have got it playing on all devices by mistake. My brother-in-law did that once when he was at work while I was talking to my sister on the phone. Freaked us both out when we suddenly heard music.

My son said it sometimes goes on when I speak to the dogs whilst downstairs. I presume that is what triggered it yesterday as I talk loads to the dogs.
