I'm a text straight back if I can or soon as I realise I've got a text (as sometimes don't hear it come through and not always constantly checking) I prefer emailing from a proper keyboard though as I type about 50wpm but text about 6wpm

My sister is a last word texter...text her saying "don't reply to this text" and she texts back "ok"

Pointless texts from people on the periphery of my life get on my feckin nerves.

I quite often leave my mobile in another room when I am busy in the house.... and I am quite happy to leave it at home when I am out doing stuff.

The results are often hilarious!!

Unless its a text to family shortly after a text to a fabster - in which case the words 'rimming' instead of 'ringing', 'handjob' instead of 'hands off' and 'dildo' instead of 'did you?' often confuse my gran!

Annoys the shit outta me that on my phone I have to go onto the numbers bit for the apostrophe - ffs, an important punctuation mark and it's there with the fecking tilde, question and exclamation mark etc...should be on same screen as the full stop

Definitely this! It's easier since getting a smart phone but even when using my old brick of a mobile phone (like the one Del Boy was selling in an Only Fools and Horses episode which would change the channels on the telly in the Nag's Head

) I would do the same thing.

I am a very communicative friendly texter - I dont send jokes but I do have proper communications and humour. I never use text speak except perhaps for "u" and "r" - I love texting as it is less invasive than calling and the other person can decide when they want to reply.
