I've got taps and an outside power supply. It'll be perfect for when the Mrs kicks me out of the family home and I have to live in a tent on the back garden.

My tap for outdoor use is situated inside my laundry room, just by the window for easy access.

I open the window and feed the hose inside.

If you don't have an outside tap don't worry about it. If you have a shower that comes from your bath mixer taps just connect to that or better still go under your sink disconnect your washing machine and connect your hose to that xx

And depending on how far the tap supply is to the nearest other tap don’t forget to regularly open the outside tap to flush out stagnant water. “Dead legs” as they are called can be a source of bacteria.
