Good morning.

I'm still in bed but OP, you've inspired me to warm up my croissants early and enjoy them with my strong black coffee now. On my way to the kitchen now.

Morning all. I've had two croissants this morning. Sat them on top of the toaster to warm them up and had a bit of Bon Maman Damson preserve on them. Delicious

My favourite would be a full English, but more usually it's apple & cinnamon porridge with nuts/driedfruit & maple syrup or protein cereal with nuts/dried fruit & maple syrup, or toast.

I'm not a Catholic, but I do respect the solemnity of not eating meat on a Friday. So breakfast today is two olive oil bread rolls spread with cod roe in a Marie Rose sauce, and topped with six smoked oysters. If the oysters have their usual effect that means, how you might say that I will have lead in my pencil, and could do with someone to write to!
