Brighton - even Hove!

It usually sits in the sitting room and then I use it when I’m away from the house. I don’t usually use it in other rooms in the house. Probably because I’m using the rooms for their purpose.

Not the phone as such because there are other devices linked to the same account. Every room except the bathroom; never in the bathroom.

I wouldn't say so, not for things like a wee or if I'm relaxing in the garden. It's always within reach though and if my hands aren't full I'll always check if it bleeps or whatever.

Yes because I had an ex that would go through my phone and then kick off at me. Now it's a habit.

Yep, because I often think of really random stuff at stupid moments and I Google it.

Like, what happened to the fella who played Poncharello in cHIPS? Who was the fella who played Poncharello in cHIPS? Is the man who played Poncharello in cHIPS still alive?

Yes, I really am that sad.

No, I rarely have it on my person. It sits in the kitchen mostly, I check it when I pass. I carry it on my handbag when I am out. When I am at work, it lives in my bag in the staffroom until I go home.

I will keep it closer if I am expecting a call that is important to me.

Yes, everywhere. I don't like being out of contact/internet for any amount of time.

The world runs 24/7 online.

Information-rich means constant connection.

I long for the day we have cyber-implanted voice-comms and connected-systems. Eyeware. Muscle-augmentation. Wired reflexes.

Full on futurist/cyberpunk aficionado.

No, if I nip to the 24/7 over the road, it stays on the table next to ma chair, but if I go into town, then it comes with me. Unless I'm expecting a call, it's mostly on silent anyway

When mine went kaput a few years ago, I thought I would try and see how long I could go without one. This only lasted about 6 weeks until I got a letter from ma Doc's saying that they would have to stop ma prescriptions as I was uncontactable

I got ma first mobile in 2000, life was much easier before then.com

Goes with me everywhere, even on the loo,.yes I'm that person that sometimes gets pins and needles because I've been sitting on the bog too long scrolling through social media.

The only time I don't have it is when work cracks down and tells me I can't have it (to be fair I have a good argument to have it on me as I take photos and upload them to social media, carrying the massive tablet we have just isn't ideal).

It's mostly always on silent unless expecting a call.
