Curvy to me, means someone that isn't skinny but isn't fat either, I am fat, more than chubby and if anyone ever said I was curvy they clearly don't know the meaning of the word (but then everyone's interpretation is different I guess).

Curvy is a dangerous word to use with me as I have body image issues that have caused me to do dangerous things when I was younger. I'm very small chested yet get called curvy a lot so it's obviously a reference to my thunder thighs and huge hips.

Curvy is just a shape, and not a size though. It's my problem if I take the description negatively when it's used to describe me.

No curvy means a woman’s natural body figure, from her calf’s, thighs, hips, torso waist and shoulders. Not all humans/women are built the same. As there is nothing wrong with a woman being ‘fat’ or ‘chubby’ .. curvy is more to do with shape and posture, some women are naturally built with curves or a curvy figure. 10 years ago the world was obsessed with being thin. ..times have changed and curvy figures on women are the most attractive look there can be in my opinion.

On here, it means larger. A very very tiny number of people describe curvy as slim with shape on here. Or in social media. Or on TV anymore. It’s just a nicer word for people to use. It’s all about feelings.
