“Do a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life”

This is so true people. I changed job last year and a pay cut but I’m loads happier. Job contentment/happiness means a far more than the money if you’re lucky enough to be financially well off so to speak.

I like mine. I applied/interviewed thinking it would be one thing, but it's ended up being a real mix of roles. I'm getting to work on lots of different projects in different departments which keeps every day varied. I also really like the people.

Only thing I don't like is the imposter syndrome

Love my job. Now.

We took on too much work being self employed. Now I just take on fun stuff I like the look off.

Happiness over money. Took me to long to realise this.

Found a job I enjoyed only for the contract to be ended 6 months early. Took something else offered as at due to the climate of the job market at the time being unemployed wasn’t an option. This contract now finishes at the end of September due to funding cuts.

Blessing in disguise really as I got signed off due to stress from it. Cannot wait to go back into the sector I was originally when I joined in this company back in June 2019

No absolutely not. I go there, do what I'm paid to, and go home and don't think about it until the next time I have to go. Luckily it's only part time as most of my time is spent studying for a Masters. The job is just to keep the household ticking over while I study.

I have no problem going to work everyday but it's nowhere near my dream job nor is it what I am really suited to, not challenging me (which I need), don't feel like I'm learning or developing any more. I was smart enough to have done anything I wanted, I'm a definite serious underachiever. Kinda feel I'm stuck, pay is good and unlikely to get as good elsewhere without some drawback and reluctant to take a pay cut.

Fair play to all those who have found the balance.

At the moment I hate my role - basically I have 2 bosses split over 4 clients - both of my bosses are on holiday and I am moving in to a new team as if first of September and loosing both bosses

So I am trying to keep all my clients happy as bosses are away, trying to sort hand overs for work, 2 of the senior managers are also on holiday

So a little stressed to say the least.

Also with one client - it’s a new client on a new system which I have only had 4 weeks with so can’t do everything I need to do yet.

I will be ok but it’s crazy!!! Also have juniors that are inept
