While I've done glass and Lego.... The pain is temporary and it's not been as absolutely annoying as stepping in cat crap in the middle of a freezing cold night.

Especially when you had nipped out of bed quickly to go turn off the garage light.

I didn't go back to that house. Which kinda drove a wedge between us. We had other issues too tbf.

When I was about 19/20 and couldn’t handle my drink properly I woke up after a heavy night with a vague memory of being sick during the night, I ran my hands all over my duvet in a panic to check (I was too hungover to lift my head to look) but was relieved not to feel any sick. When I finally felt able to get out of bed I sat up and put a foot down on the floor straight into a pile of sick, it wasn’t physically painful like Lego or a plug etc but it was emotionally painful, firstly just because my foot was in sick, secondly because I knew I had to clean sick up off my foot and bedroom floor whilst wrestling with a stinking hangover and thirdly because my mom had come into my room to check on me so would have seen the sorry state of me lying next to a pile of my own sick.
