Brendon Foster for the marathon. Reminds me of my childhood. It's one of the sporting occasions we watched without fail.

I rather enjoy Andrew Cotter's Scottish burr but not so much the sports he commentates on.

Johnners and blowers most fun for cricket .. however tuffers has the most soothing voice.....

All other commentators in any sport just annoy me to bits .... stating the bloody obvious or missing the point entirely... and reading boring facts in the boring bits

I do like tms with aggers... And when it had jonners and blowers... Just managed to conjure images with words...

Harry of course for the boxing...

Wee archie mcpherson for the footie

Who was the whispering guy who did the snooker when Steve Davies was a thing.?

Tuffnell and Blowers was a joyous double act. Clearly good mates from polar opposite backgrounds. "Hello, old thing"

I wish I was around to see Bobby Heenan's commentary. Apparently he was great and a brilliant foil for Gorilla Monsoon

Peter Allis. I honestly adored listening to him and found him comforting when he would commentate on the golf. A kind friendly voice.
