Or do you need to have it tailored?

I had to throw out my white shirt as it didn't fit me well around the waist area and now want to buy a new one.

Is there a certain cut with them like it is with jeans or will I just have to get my measurements checked and order a custom fit?

T shirts yes. shirts, no, as my arms are too big for the sleeves, so rarely buy full sleeve shirts.

Boxers, I have to cut a split up the leg sometimes because of my quads lol

Probably needs a couple of darts altered in the back and seams taken in. Someone who knows what they're doing could do that I reckon

I used to really struggle until I started getting them at TM Lewin.

I've settled on a 17.5inch neck and fitted. That's too tight on the neck to close the top button but that's irrelevant as I hate ties its not really relevant!

From memory they do a slim fit as well but that has narrow arms and was a waste of time. The fitted had a bit of a taper to it but pretty broad shoulders and the arms are a good size for me. By that I mean they make my arms look big without cutting off blood flow

The regular isn't too bad but it's "generous" around the waist. I didn't even bother trying on the biggest sizes.

I think they go up to an 19inch neck.

That's my problem! I have a 30" waist so nothing fits properly!

I'm not sure if they still have any physical stores left but if they do they always had a full range of plain white shirts to try on in tbe neck and fit sizes. That's what worked for me.

The Fitted one is decent. fairly narrow waste like the slim but much broader shoulders and more generous arms
