I actually thought about this in the night, yes very sad.

And you are correct. I was thinking of 'forum' as a generic word and not this one specifically.

Had I said "This forum..." I'd be correct.

But as I said "The forum..." it should have been "The Forum" as I was meaning this one in particular and its title is 'Forum'.

It's good to know other Grammar Police officers are out there working hard.
