Chef James Martin is under fire by using Worcestershire Sauce instead of Henderson's in a recipe film shoot in Yorkshire. I have never tasted Henderson's but which is the best?

I think it’s nicer plus it’s suitable for vegetarians as it doesn’t contain anchovies

Henderson's is the best of the two, surprised at James being from Yorkshire and not using Hendo's.

Missin’ Yo’ Kissin’

He should have used Tonkatsu sauce. I have Bulldog's - you can get it in any Asian supoermarket!

It's a sweet, tangy fruit-and-vegetable condiment.

I use it as dip for Gyoza's but I love it on a runny fried or poached egg on toast.Mmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Ignore hoemade ones as they add Worcestershire sauce?????

Virtually all Chefs I've known in over 45 years in Hotels and across Hospitality all use Worcestershire Sauce.

I've never heard of Hendersons Sauce, but that is probably down to the worst Product advertising ever!

I'm from Sheffield and hendo's is somewhat of of an institution here, it goes with everything, it's fantastic if you glug it into a slow cooker stew for example, on chips, in soup etc, iv even tried it with ice cream.

The saying goes " if it int from Sheffield,it's wank" but I'm biased because I live here and mean no harm
