I met with Thom Yorke and the rest of the band late One night after they did a gig just outside of Dublin at Malahide Castle around 2010. I watched the gig and happened to be staying at the same hotel as them - met them in the hotel bar, which was nearly empty. Thom Yorke was distracted, but Ed O’Brien was fascinating (I am - was - a drummer too) and Jonny Greenwood was comical and told some amazing anecdotes.

Arguably one of the most influential bands of the 21st century and all completely humble. If you didn’t know they were Radiohead, you’d have just thought they were a bunch of people having a late drink.

Amazing night

Ian Brown.

Paddy Consadine, the actor, , twice. Once at a train station, once at a gig.

John Thompson, the comedian.

But on reflection, not that many directly. Mainly the people I've worked with have worked with famous people, if that makes sense. (Faceless session musicians that play with well known people.)

Jimmy Saville when he was an honorary marine... Close one there.

Kate Humble, she was doing some filming & I asked if I could have a photo with her. She said yes, how can I resist a man in uniform? I stood next to her, she put her arm around me & squeezed me bum... I'm not going to the press with that one
