Holidays for one

Looking at getting away for a week or two in september

Has anyone got any recommendations for adult only, all inclusive hotels somewhere hot? Don't really mind where but somewhere on the Mediterranean would be a bonus. I like Portugal but the sea is freezing with it being the Atlantic.

I go to Majorca alone. Not too far away, very friendly with beautiful beaches and a good climate.

what! Why? I've just come back from Rhodes, was going to recommend it as I went alone and had a great time.

Spiros, the bloke I worked for for a bit, put me off greeks for life haha. I'd rather not give them my business. Petty i know but I've been to many places and that was my least favourite

Many swingers recommended gran canaria but not sure ofv the hotel name, I'm sure it can be found on here somewhere.

we are in Rhodes in September/October. What was the covid situation, was it easy to get a test before you came back? Also, what about the fires, did it do much damage there?

I've been to Majorca several times on my own. Short flight with plenty of options. Great beaches with plenty of scenery to admire. Ots of friendly bars and restaurants too

Suggest that you look at Mitsis hotels, they are on nearly all the Greek islands

5 star plus and fully inclusive

The A La Carte restaurants are superb.

I took a test with me and just did via video call. If you're not double jabbed then chance you'll be pulled for a lateral flow at the airport. Fires hadnt reached as far as Rhodes, to the extent of Athens, when I was there.

I've traveled all over the world alone, best way to meet new people

Think I'm edging towards majorca for this holiday. I like the beaches there

I’ve booked up for a week in Gran Canaria at Los Calderones THe Senses Collection in Maspalomas for October… adults only, have a deluxe suite to relax in, it’s near to some clubs to explore. Plus the island is great for motorbiking so will be hiring one for a few days
