Do you have a problem with fly tipping in your area

We have here and I can now see why.

I went to the local tip and they refused me because I lived out of the county, so then I took it to another one and they refused me because I didn't book it.

I was advised to phone the council and make an appointment which I managed to do after two days of calling them I finally made the appointment.

Great four days later i went there and I was asked for ID by the gate which I wasn't told to bring, but no biggie I went back home and brought it with me and then... I was refused entry again because I had a trailer attached to my car.

They said I needed to apply for a permit with the council and this could take up to two weeks ffs okay I said I will leave the trailer across the road and carry the rubbish to the bin, but no that wasn't allowed either.

So rather than apply for a permit to take my trailer in, I went back home and stuffed as much as I could in my car and then finally I got through the gates.

Then.. I was told that they didn't take wood there and that I had to make an appointment at another recycling place which could take another 4 days.

For fack sake it's no wonder people are fly tipping!!

Crikey, we thought it was just Lincolnshire where the council are being like this!

Fly typing had always been an issue here, but it's got worse since the introduction of this stupid appointment system.

Yes we do which is frustrating when we have three local tips. You need to prove you're a resident of the area to use them but it seems to be the residents that are doing the fly tipping anyway
