Anyone noticed how many forums posts could actually give away your security answers if you participate? Or am I just over thinking this?

You know the name your first pet, first car etc.

I'm sure if I'd used the notes section I could have quite the record now.

There's even a door number match thread thread. Fun idea though and

I know they are all in good taste.

But does anyone want my postcode and pin yet? Or my three numbers on the back of my card?

La la land

They'd need my actual name and date of birth for that information to be used. None of which I ever put on the forum.

For me it wouldn’t

As I set mine to stupid things like

Like ha hsbdkdhurbbsgsjneurjdy

If they don’t know the password they clear not me as I vault all my password In the forum off a screen shot and put them on a usb drive

And then if needing them I plug it in to a digital photo frame that dose not have a outgoing contact to the internet and scroll though the pics

But your not wrong in saying that

It’s hard to say if they games are harmless fun

Or attempts to pull info

as it’s definitely a forum off fazing someone for info

I sometimes think the information that we give out inadvertently on the forums is a bit risky; house numbers, birthday forums, towns etc.

However you have to take it all with a pinch of salt because it all hinges on us being honest with the info … I am sure some people shave a few years of their age, use a postcode that is near their own for searches, use a ‘fake’ name so I doubt there would be that much useable information out there.

But I will say this sort off thing is a thing off the past when everyone is so willing to hand all they details over and I can legally get them

Face change should have been the wake up call to the mass

If you don’t know what that is

It was a app designed by the Russian government

Harmless app that made people look older and younger on the face off things

But sinster behind the scenes as it was set up to steal everyone info on they phone just google face change and you will see

Nobody on Fab knows my birthday except my other half. And nobody knows my surname either. Don't want people looking for me

Absolutely 100% - it is not a good idea from a cyber security or social engineering perspective.
