Jalapeno chilli home grown

well i went out and checked them and want a mix of green n red so picked over 100 Jalapeno chillies now i know i can pickle or oil but will they freeze now i know it said they do via google but do they freeze well ie when thawed not mushy ?? any of you wonderful green fingered folk know ???

Just as long as they are dry when you freeze them they will last for at least 12 months. Lay in a single layer on a plate or tray and once frozen store in an air tight bag.

I have frozen various chilli's without drying and they're basically fine for cooking. They defrost slightly softer, but still good

I've heard you can freeze them ok but not tried. I currently have jalapeno, cayenne, habanero and naga growing...will try freezing some and let you know (might not be imminent though as still growing!)

i have 9 different types of chilli plants and 3 of each lol think ive over done it .... time to give some away me thinks
