"Congratulations OP! I'm very happy because my brother who is autistic and was non verbal until the age of 6 has had his place to study Law at one of the top universities confirmed today. I'm not happy because I'm going to end up being the underachiever in the family but hey ho. " That’s an incredible achievement. Good luck to him. I’m sure you’ve achieved more than you realise lovely lady. There’s more to life than a degree etc. Success can be measured in many ways. X

I'm really proud of him, he's going to a better uni than I did so I'm being a bit daft but when I think back to all the times people would judge him or think he wouldn't achieve anything because of it? It makes me proud. He's going to have to put up with his big sis visiting his college though. I hope your eldest is happy and does well in the way that makes him happy, that's the important thing. x

X" I am so proud as he wanted to give up after the HNC. I think he’s tired of studying. A career path is now the issue….. It’s hard seeing him confused. Luckily he has a well paid part-time job to keep him going for now xx

I was on my way to nursing and had worked in the NHS for many many years but then had a mental health episode and it changed my thought process big time. I am now going to do an English degree with creative writing and I want to teach. It’s never to late to change. I hope he finds what he wants to do. If not then a well paid job is all you can ask for really if he’s happy. X
