Who here has stories on dealing with horrible and entitled customers?

There was one at my works last night.

What happened was he went into a screening of The Suicide Squad with his 6 year old son and refused to leave. He was very aggressive and horrid but finally left after we told him we'll get security if he didn't.

Loads over the years. The ones that talk down to you thinking they are better or that you have to do as they say because they have money to spend. The ones that think they can "get you fired" because they suddenly know how to do your job better than you or think complaining to your boss will actually get them anywhere and all the down right rude and miserable ones in between.

I believe the way someone treats people in the service industry can tell you alot about them as a person.

Worked in retail for yonks, so had loads over the years. The ones who insist that you reduce something before you're allowed to or further than you can, the one who returned some oranges because they smelled like...oranges, the ones who clearly know exactly what's in our warehouse because they can't possibly take our word for it...

I have to contact people when they complain to their card company that they’ve been defrauded. In some cases they have, so I’m calling to tell them I’m refunding, so it’s a pretty easy call ….you’d think

However as we ship around the World and due to my working hours I get …..the USA. Our American cousins can be slightly awkward to say the least. It’s never their fault and even though it’s our company that’s lost the goods sent, they will sue us for emotional distress

Due to my English accent (that surprises them when I call) I can often sort it out by being a bit condescending myself

but explain in some detail why we haven’t used their card, someone else did.

Luckily it’s only 2-3 of these calls I have to do a night but you get all sorts.

Sad but true. Luckily, some kids don't grow up being violent and entitled like their parents are.

I think he was just being arrogant and aggressive because he got caught breaking the rules.

A few years ago, working on the counter at a petrol station.

A few people in the queue, man marches to the front and throws a £20 note on the counter, turns his back and walks out.

Everyone stares in disbelief.

I look at his £20 and call out to him. "Which pump sir?"

He waves his hand at the forecourt.

I shrug in dismay and pick up the £20, "Sir........."

"I don't have time" and off he storms.

I slide the £20 between my fingers and separate the one behind it.

Quietly...."you've given me £20 too much........"
