Okay right I get it when a profile says not looking for single men, this incude single woman profiles I respect that but come on the real single guys out there that will not email or be mardy are just being over looked or am I wrong?

Some people block single males from messaging because they don't want to be inundated with messages from 100s of profiles that don't match what they are looking for & instead they prefer to search for suitable people themselves.

This still comes up even when the filters aren’t set but preferences are I think yet loads still message and ask what we are looking for, the only reason we don’t close the filters is so we can see who’s viewed our profile as we block anyone local to us.

Overlooked for what? I’ve got in the habit of blocking single men from messaging most of the time. It stops me getting inundated and wasting their time. When I want a guy I’ll post a meet or message someone on my hot list, and lots of women do the same.

Ultimately if you want to avoid being overlooked your best plan will be to make your profile stand out from the crowd OP

Real males, rather than fake males not message or get upset (mardy - love that word) and come into the forums and moan that they can't get meets.

My view on this is if a profile says "No single males" and all the veris are from single males show a lack of honesty in the profile and would question the rest of the profile - which if was male profile lack of honesty, would get slammed in the forums

Okay this was worded wrong, I understand most of your views and yes its about people profiles and what they want and are looking for my point should have been about the mardy men that message and get pissed off with rejection, the same with the people that don't read the profile and wonder why they have been block or the message deleted, this was get other people views on this topic with was in the end word wrong, and not I'm not coming on here complaining about the lack of meets that doesn't even come in to this. Or they could have their filters set so that shows and actually go messaging men themselves first .It doesn't necessarily mean they are being dishonest it could simply be a way to cut down messages they get.

And while yes a man would probably get grief on here if it was seen on his profile because anyone who reads the forum's would have to be blind not go see the difference in the way men are treated on here compared to women and couples.What I don't understand is why people get in such a knot over what others have or do with their own profiles.If a profile doesn't suit what you are looking for move on and forget about it.

Not every single guy suits every couple or single lady, especially if they can't accommodate, overnight if required. If you tick their boxes they will find you. Also it means that they themselves don't overlook someone they would be interested in when they have to do the mass delete of their inbox. I must admit, when I've had couples profiles on here with lady friends who either wanted to be shown the ropes, or wanted the protection of a reliable guy, we would have to do the same and state no, Not looking for single males, otherwise we couldn't get through the messages.
