Being stared at can be uncomfortable for most people, depending on the situation. It's better and more appropriate to shift your gaze after a second or so. Stare at porn as much as you want to or hire company.

I'm OK with a whistle sometimes to me but context is everything. It's better to engage in conversation but be mindful of intimidation and frightening and harassing others.

I never really do either. Wolf whistling feels very archaic to me.

Staring can get a little creepy. Looking often trying to catch their eyes then smiling before looking away again is a different matter

Ask your female relatives, they will tell you.

Considering many girls below the age of consent look much older, would you want your young teen objectified? How safe do you think she'd feel? Do you think that's a positive male role model she's experiencing?

Would you want her constantly on edge for fear the wolf whistler, who is always surrounded by his baying workmates, would take it further?

What is so difficult about NOT making women feel threatened?

Be a man women would walk barefoot over red coals to be with, not to flee from.

Some woman enjoy the attention and some don't I think a glance is ok but staring is creepy . There is a clip on the promoter Eddie Hearn at a weigh in we're a female boxer stripped down to skimpy underwear and he would not look at all .

Having consulted my oracle of feminine ways (ladies in my office), it depends:

If the whistler is hot, it's nice.

If the whistler is a slob, it's creepy.

Regardless of the whistler's hotness status, if she's having a bad day, fuck off.

It's demeaning.

It's flattering.

I probably wouldn’t be comfortable with a long stare, depends how long! A glance I’m ok with.

Wolf whistling belongs in the 80s although making it a criminal offence is a bit far fetched.

I haven’t seen or heard anyone wolf whistle for about 30 years anyway.
