Trimmed down below, beard kept tidy if applicable. Body hair kept well, ie no hairy back and shoulders but I do love a hairy chest/stomach.

I do prefer to shave completely

But there are times when I can't be bothered

So shave my balls and base of shaft then trim above as short as possible

I even had a landing strip for the first few months of lockdown, which I quite liked..pics on my profile..so no doubt I'll grow that again at some point

I always go with trimmed above and shaved balls. Never touch chest hair though.

I heard a life hack for this the other day. Sit on the Toliet the wrong way and trim there. Flush and your done.
