Without knowing what she's like or what you expect from it, it's hard to answer this.

If you're both open minded about new kinks and discuss things that are a bit taboo for vanillas, then just discuss it. If she likes anal, there's a door to be opened, you could say you've always been fascinated how it must feel. A lot depends on what kind of roles you like to assume or are in the habit of. I mean, that's fantasy, not reality. If it's done properly there should be absolutely no pain above very mild discomfort. Some folks like it to hurt, and that's fine, but it absolutely doesn't have to.

Excuse me and apologies for any confusion. I was talking about subspace, not pain. I pointed out above that one position doesn't do it for me because of it hitting wrong.

This subject does seem to be popular considering the number of similar threads on the subject here.
