it seems a athleat in the olypics is selling things hes given to fund his life, he claims his funding isnt enough, i thought that olymics were for amatures, not funded athleats

The BMX lass Shriver who won gold had to crowd fund £50k to get to to the Olympics, as Olympic funding was only for the men

Whilst Athletes are amateur ie not paid to compete, they still need to pay for kit, training, travel, entrance to competition, physio, psychologists, elite level training etc, GB have a great funding programme but it doesn’t stretch to all areas of sport

Seriously? You didn’t realise that many Olympic competitors are funded? Have you watched any of the Olympics? Have you not noticed most of the GB competitors thanking the national lottery for fundinng them, their equipment, their coaches etc?
