So I asked someone out at my new job which was risky - and with anxiety too makes it worse. They said no of course because of working together. I did say hypothetically. I need a hug now

Sending all the hugs.

Fair play to you, sometimes you just have to shoot your shot or you'll never know.

Don't worry about it.

I feel stupid all of the time without asking women out.

At least you tried.

Big hugs. X

Totally agree. You miss 100% of the shots you never take.

Big hugs and a kiss from me.

I've never asked anyone out in real life, and often hide myself away from the world. I always have done and at almost 30 I've never dated anyone.

You're much more fearless than I am!

Thank you all. Usually don't do it for the usual fear of rejection. Anyway

At least you tried, you would potentially have regretted it otherwise?

Almost done this a few times and backed off.

Nothing worse than getting turned down and working with the person.

HUG.

You did a brave thing, you ventured out of your comfort zone, you grew as a human being.

You may not have got the outcome you wanted, but what you found out about yourself and what you can do is fantastic.

Take away the positives, wishing you a happier outcome next time.

I remember doing likewise in a job I had to also get rejected.

Well done for putting yourself out there!
