That as well but the main thing that’s have a effect on price Can’t expect a company to have the same profits margins of the cost pre unit has went up ten fold witch means the price has got to be upped to keep the profits margins the same

"Perfect time to start up a bargain shipping container business then, made from recylced tin foil and bean tins. " You can also convert shipping containers into housing, they'll be fetching a quarter of a million pound soon

"A friend of mine is paying ten thousand pounds more for a shipping container since covid. I heard that someone in China gathered all the containers together and he is basically putting his own price on them. No competition, people have to pay it. " That would be impossible believe me. It is actually the cost of fuel as the cost of oil has gone up due to demand and less oil being produced

If the cost to ship a container I can well believe it - the cost of me shipping a 20' container of cashews from Vietnam was five times higher in February 2021 than it was in February 2020.

The cost to ship a 40 footer. One of the companies I deal with imports rubber matting and the cost per item for the last 15 years was always around £9 to £11 landed in the UK and now its around £16! I've never seen it like this before. We use to panic when things increased by a few pence but this is ridiculous and unheard of.

No one is being salty. We decided to become a third country. This is the price we pay for our stupidity. People screamed that this would be among the consequences. And now that it has they claim it's those bastard Europeans. It's pathetic really.

More to pay when they enter our ports.

I doubt the cause is quite so simplistic " This is true and one of the main reasons why goods coming in have shot up in price. I know a guy who ordered stuff from a manufacturer before container prices increased and now he's selling it just to make his money back. He couldn't back out of the deal.
