Breaking news, new Apple software will scan phones for "obscene" images and possibly report to various third parties.

I saw it this morning but it’s about known prohibited images of abuse that do the circuit of peados and the like not adult content

It’s not going to direct scan the phone

It’s only scanning stuff that’s uploaded to I cloud

If you turn off photo upload to iCloud then it will not scan

And I agree with them doing it as it could land them in trouble
